Purpose
Kinfolk CoLab seeks to provide space for BIPOC-led groups who are working towards justice, and for those who value a safe and affirming location in which to meet. The purpose of Kinfolk CoLab is to nurture and fortify community relationships.
Pillars of Kinfolk CoLab
A sanctuary for Black people that centers Black voices and culture
An intentional space to build community and collaborate
A place for celebrating, elevating and advocating for Black folks in our community
More about this space
Kinfolk CoLab strives to serve as an intimate, intentional, pro-queer, affirming space for those who experience racial marginalization. It serves as a hub for grassroots efforts to coalesce, and as a justice incubator where groups live out their purpose and build momentum, ultimately creating their own spaces for greater impact in the future. All multi-purpose rooms are part of a communal, shared space, and the CoLab is both free to use and community funded.
